The life of an entrepreneur is not the same as one who has a job to maintain. There is great flexibility in being an entrepreneur because you control and manage your own time and pace. You answer only to yourself. No more bosses that constantly demand and monitor your performance. Of course, having a business means hard work and perseverance as one will strive for the success of the business venture.

Making the right decision is important as this could make or break the business. The entrepreneur might be pressured to arrive at such an important decision and might feel stressed out. This can be overcome through time as the entrepreneur will be comfortable with his new role as the decision maker.

Although being an entrepreneur is perceived by many as an opportunity to increase one’s wealth, status and power, there is also great risk involved in setting up a business. Every aspect of the business must be well-taken care of because one weak link might break the chain. It takes a lot of effort to run a business especially when it is at its initial stages. But once the business has been established, periodic monitoring is required. The business may also involve a small or large capital. It really depends on the business that the entrepreneur will decide to take. He or she must be prepared to finance his business as it will grow and expand.
