Artiklz: a new tool to monitor your online reputation

8 January 2009 101 views No Comment

A new promising service called Artiklz has recently passed the beta testing phase and is now open to the general public. This California based venture has even been nominated for Mashable Open Awards in November last year.

What it does: the service aggregates discussions around various social media sites and allows selective conversational search. Basically with the help of Artiklz search engine web surfers are able to track conversations on any subject on any popular blog platform, forum, social sharing and discussion site. Blog owners get a set of tools to monitor the reputation of their content.

Its goals: to become the centralized aggregator for dynamic user generated content, create brand awareness, and become Google of conversational search.

The project has passed the testing phase and is now in public beta. No invites and registrations are necessary, however you may want to register in order to get access to some advanced features (like your own content conversion tracking, comments tracking, etc). As in any Web 2.0 service that wants to become a success the registration is free of charge.
